Naked 2 Review

Most beauty enthusiasts own a urban decay palette. I decided to get a Naked palette as they were so hyped up and looked so incredible.

I brought mine of Ebay from an independent seller (It is authentic as they have a product code on the back which mine has got) . There are a lot of fake Naked Palette sellers on Ebay So beware!. I paid £15 plus postage cost which was really good value considering they cost £37 if brought new from Debenhams.

I struggled to decide which palette I wanted at first but I decided to go for the Naked 2 as it has more lighter neutral shades than darker shades. I wanted to use the palette for everyday use so the Naked 2 was the best palette.

This is my favourite section of the palette as these are the colours that are the most used and are used daily. 'Foxy' is a matte cream/nude shade which I use as a base for my eyeshadow and to colour correct my eye if I have any redness. 'Half Baked' is in both the Naked 1 and the Naked 2 it is a gold shimmer and I use it once I have applied all of my eyeshadow to sparkle it up if I am doing eye look for a night out. 'Bootycall' is probably one of the most used eyeshadow of the whole palette. I would call this a champaign shade. I use this all over the lid and as a highlight on the brow bone. 'Chopper' is a rose gold shimmer I don't use this shade often but when I do I use it all over the lid. 'Tease' is another favourite of mine from the palette. It is a purple/ brown matte shade. I use 'Tease' in the crease with 'Bootycall' all over the lid for a daytime look.

This section is not used as much as the first 5 shades I feel are more for night time eye looks. 'Snakebite' is a shimmery brown. I used this in the crease if I want to darken up the crease in the day or all over the lid for a night time look. 'Suspect' is a mixture of gold and silver I don't use this a lot and is probably one of my most  unused eyeshadows. 'Pistol' is a gunmetal silver and again I rarely use this eyeshadow. 'Verve' is a silver shimmer which I use all over the lid to add some sparkle.

These are the last three shades of the palette are used quite a lot. 'YDK' is a similar to 'Chopper' but is more darker. I use 'YDK' all over the lid. 'Busted' is a dark shimmer brown. I use this to darken up the crease in the day or all over the lid for a night look. 'Blackout' is the last and one of my favourites as I use this to use as liner or to darken up the crease.

The brush that comes with the palette is amazing it is double ended which is great! On one end there is a fluffy blending brush and on the other a flat brush to pack on the shadow. This is great as it means you don't have to buy two separate brushes to apply the eyeshadows (if you are just starting out with make-up). The brush is easy to wash and dry's quickly.

I would recommend this palette to everyone the quality of the eyeshadows are amazing! Even though it costs £37 I think it is worth it and I cant wait to try out the other palette's that Urban Decay do. I think the next one on my list is the original Naked palette.
